Sports Massage for Your Active Life
Comprehensive massage therapy in Foxboro, MA — for athletes, active adults, and anyone working through pain.
Assessment-First Therapy
This Is Not a One-Size-Fits-All Massage
Every session starts with an assessment — not a menu. We talk about what hurts, how active you are, and what you want to get back to. Then the work is built around you.
One-on-One Sessions
60 minutes of focused, individualized work. No assembly line. No background noise. Just targeted therapy.
Injury-Aware Approach
Sessions are built around your body, your injury history, and your goals — not a standard routine applied to everyone.
Effective, Not Painful
Deep work doesn't have to hurt. The pressure is matched to you — strong enough to make a difference, never more than you can handle.
The Process
3 Steps to Healing
Assessment
Every session starts with a one-on-one assessment. We talk about your previous massage experience, your treatment goals, and your activity level.
Approach
Together we can build a treatment plan that will work for you, utilizing friction work, deep tissue, myofascial release, and stretching.
Recovery
Restoring movement, easing pain, and getting you back to your activity at full strength.
Services
Comprehensive Massage Therapy
Different bodies, different problems, different approaches. Larry uses whichever combination works for you.
Sports/Deep Tissue
Best for: Posture correction & chronic tension
Strong, focused work that reaches the deeper muscle layers. Built for athletes and active people dealing with chronic tightness.
Always calibrated to your comfort.
Injury Work
Best for: Healing tendon & ligament injuries
Targeted work on the injured tissue using friction technique developed by Drs. Cyriax and Ongley — to restore damaged ligaments and tendons.
Clinical rehab, not relaxation.
Myofascial Release
Best for: Stiffness & limited movement
Larry's specialty. Working the connective tissue so muscles can perform efficiently.
Often paired with deep tissue work.
Relaxation/Stress Relief
Best for: Lighter pressure & stress recovery
Gentler, calming work for clients who prefer lighter pressure. A great fit for stress recovery and for anyone who isn't a candidate for deep work.
Same care, lighter touch.
Cupping
Best for: Stubborn tight spots
Silicone cups that gently lift the skin to release adhesions in the muscle tissue. Available as part of a session.
Available on request.

About
The MTI Standard
Larry was introduced to massage therapy while training for his first marathon. He was training for the London Marathon when he experienced firsthand how massage could benefit the recovery process.
He trained at the Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA, one of the most demanding massage programs in New England and the school built around Dr. Ben Benjamin's approach to muscular therapy. He went on to finish the Ben Benjamin School's advanced clinical training, six seminars in deep anatomy and ligament work, and earned his Advanced Orthopedic Injury and Assessment Certification.
That training is still the backbone of the practice: a friction technique developed by Drs. Cyriax and Ongley for treating ligament and tendon injuries, paired with myofascial release, deep tissue work, assessment, and stretching, all of it refined over 20 years in practice.
Over those years he has worked on Ironman and world-class triathletes, NFL players, Division One college athletes, competitive cyclists, professional beach volleyball players, and World Cup soccer players. Medical professionals benefit from his restorative therapeutic approach. The approach is the same either way: assess first, then treat with care.

Testimonials
What Clients Say
"Larry gets results. I always leave with less pain, more range of motion and energy. He has a great demeanor, checks in with your experience and easily adjusts to your comfort level. No fluffy stuff unless you ask for it (and he's good at that too), he warms up the tissues and gets down to releasing it."
"I have been seeing Larry for several years in a different location & now he is in Foxboro! He is great in his understanding of the muscles & how they work when it comes to massage & myofascial release. He is very professional & listens to what is going on in your body. He is sensitive to how much pressure or stretch that is needed to get results.
I had been having hip pain that had been affecting my back muscles. I always leave with greater range of motion, & now I have no pain. I recommend Larry! You will not be disappointed!!"
"A master of his craft! Larry is a true professional who has helped me stay agile in my middle aged years, having just had a child and needing to stay active with him. Great convo or music playlist, you choose your own experience. Thanks Larry!"

What to Expect at Your First Session
