Larry Howard specializes in Orthopedic, Deep Tissue, Myofascial, Stress Reduction/Relaxation and Sport Specific massage techniques. Sessions are tailored to clients needs, preferences and experience with massage.
After initial assessment of client's preferences re: depth of pressure, activity level, areas of tension, pain patterns and general overall health, practitioner will develop treatment construction to best address client's concerns.
Types of Massage Therapy
After initial consultation. It is recommended that the client see the practitioner a minimum of 2 times per week, MT will friction across fibers of injury site to alleviate scar tissue and promote healing. This will be followed up by massages to assist in circulation and proper tissue health.
Deep massage does not mean painful massage in most cases. Deep massage means effective massage. Accessing layers of muscle and fascia to improve mind body connection and postural habits.
Often combined with Deep Tissue massage, Myofascial work addresses the fascia/muscle connection to relieve trigger points, adhesions in muscle and general areas of tension.
Practitioner has experience with Cranio-Sacral Therapy. Utilizing more energetic techniques to assist those who cannot or do not wish to receive deeper, more aggressive massage. Has been known to be effective in treating seniors or clients of advanced age.

About Lawrence Howard
Larry holds a B.S. in Business from Norwich University. He discovered the field of Massage Therapy while training for the London Marathon. He graduated from the Muscular Therapy Institute and furthered his massage education by completing the Advanced Orthopedic Injury and Assessment Certification. He has worked with World Class and Ironman Triathletes, New England Patriots, competitive cyclists, Division One college athletes, professional beach volleyball and World Cup soccer players.
